Please be sure to read our safety guidelines to help you understand what is expected from our parade participants. You can find them there: Safety Checklist – 2017

The Papillion Community Foundation cordially invites you and/or your organization to participate in the annual Papillion Days parade to be held on Saturday, June 17th at 2 PM.  In an effort to make the parade a success, we would like to alert you to a number of notes to consider when making your entry.

  • Participants must provide their own vehicles, trailers, signs and all other materials used for the entry.  All participants are encouraged to be as creative and decorative as possible to please parade viewers and improve your chances for winning a prize.
  • Entries will be judged in two categories:
    • Floats
    • Marching Groups

You must select a category in which your entry falls.  Please fill out all information at the time your application is submitted.

The throwing of candy or any other objects is strictly prohibited. Such behavior endangers parade viewers and in no way adds to their enjoyment.  Objects may strike viewers who aren’t paying attention and cause children to rush out into oncoming vehicles.  The safe and easy alternative is to have persons walk along side of your entry and hand out such objects.

The parade movement must not be delayed for more ½ to 2 minutes by the performance of routines.  Therefore, all routines shall not exceed 2 minutes in duration. Entries with animals are responsible for cleaning up their animals’ droppings.  Failure to do so is impolite and unlawful littering.

Please fill out the entry form completely and enclose payment if applicable.  The information on the form is necessary to ensure that the parade is organized efficiently and that your needs are accommodated.

To prevent crowding in the line up area, it is extremely important that the measurement of your entry is accurate.

Please feel free to contact the Papillion Community Foundation should you have any questions.

Thank you for your participation!
