Butterfly Garden at Veterans Park

Constructed in 2020 as a Papillion 150 legacy project of the Papillion Community Foundation and the City of Papillion, the Butterfly Garden opened in 2021 and is maintained by Garden Volunteers from the community. Located on the north side of Veterans Park on South Monroe Street, Papillion NE.

Garden Volunteers are always welcome!  Join their team of Garden Volunteers and help them maintain this oasis for the butterflies and pollinators. It is a great opportunity to meet and work with other community gardeners and to learn about gardening for butterflies and pollinators.
They meet every Thursday morning at 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. (even earlier during hot spells).
Bring your gardening gloves, pruners, shovels and favorite gardening tools and join the fun!

Contact the Butterfly Garden Committee to be added to the Garden Volunteer email list for periodic updates:  karla.rupiper@gmail.com or (402) 203-5395.
